Visitors give Summer Boating Festival the thumbs up

Capturing the energy of outdoor summer fun, the river side recreational mecca of the Swan River was the perfect destination for promoting the fantastic elements of an on water lifestyle.

Visitors to the  festival took delight in the on-water demonstrations and the hands-on jet ski, boating and canoeing activities and enjoyed  the idyllic riverfront atmosphere of the 2008 Club Marine Summer Boating Festival.    

 Providing three days of action-packed fun, this new festival showcased the widest range of boating and water lifestyle products, all entwined with entertainment, education and loads of excitement.

With a hands-on theme, the festival proved to be a popular event for adrenalin junkies, boaters and families – with loads on offer for everyone.

 Crowds took delight in the on-water demonstrations and the hands-on jet ski, boating and canoeing activities.

The Walcon Marina also proved popular with a large range of boats moored for viewing.  

Kids were certainly not forgotten, with many young tots taking delight amongst the action at the Pirates Cove.

There are so many opportunities for on-water recreation, especially in WA, and The Club Marine Summer Boating Festival brings everything together in a festival atmosphere.  

The show incorporated a line-up of live entertainment, cooking demonstrations and a fishing demonstrations demonstration’s and activities on offer included the State’s best Jet Ski riders as well as the FESA Fire King Helicopter - and of course an endless array of boats on displays, ranging from kayaks and dinghies to luxury motor cruisers and catamarans.

The 2009 Club Marine Summer Boating Festival will provide a festive outdoor atmosphere where visitors can enjoy free family entertainment, live music, novelty performers, action packed activities, wakeboard, jet ski and show ski demonstrations, fishing and lifestyle areas and plenty of opportunities to “Get Wet” and Get Involved. The festival promises once again to be a spectacular outdoor on-the – water backdrop with plenty of boats and marine accessories of all sizes, types and description.

With ample parking, central location, on water displays, a number of exciting new ”Come and Try” activities and designated areas focused on particular marine lifestyle product the festival aims to offer something for everyone.
